Charitable objects
(1) To advance the Buddhist religion, particularly in the Ambedkarite tradition, for the public benefit in the United Kingdom and internationally where consistent with the charity's objects. (2) To advance education for the public in Buddhist philosophy, ethics, equality, liberty, fraternity, compassion and social wellbeing. (3) To promote equality, inclusion and community cohesion for the public benefit, particularly for disadvantaged or underserved communities.
The trustees
Founder trustees
ABGN-UK is led by a volunteer trustee board. All trustees serve without remuneration. Joint and several responsibility applies to every decision.

Strategic leadership of the CIO. Chairs trustee meetings and the AGM. Primary contact for the Charity Commission. Joint and several responsibility for ensuring the charity acts within its objects. Volunteer; unpaid.
Miss Siddhi Dhiwar
Trustee / Secretary
Statutory record-keeping. Minutes of trustee meetings and general meetings. Statutory filings with the Charity Commission. Maintains the Register of Members and the Register of Interests. Volunteer; unpaid.
Mr Vishwas Dhiwar
Trustee
Ambedkarite community engagement and Buddhist organisational liaison. Contributes lived community experience to trustee decisions. Joint and several responsibility for ensuring the charity acts within its objects. Volunteer; unpaid.
